Problem with modpack Direwolf20 1.7.10

Last time a buy a new computer "Acer V3-772G i7-4702MQ/8GB/1000 GTX850M FHD with windows 8.1 64 bit" and I think that is no bad computer to play miecraft with mods. I'm using Java 8 update 64-bit and mod Optifine low setings and I give 5 GB ram in ftb luncher and I have always lags and jumping fps. Thanks for help.

I would see how many gigs you have on your computer. If you don't have those 5 gigs to spare, then it might actually hurt you more then its helping you. If you only have 3 gigs of ram, then you might as well set FTB ram to that

Also, check your PermGen.

If I were you I wouldn't give FTB that much RAM, I give it 2.5GB and it runs perfectly.
