So I have a few mods already installed, they are as follows.

TreeCapitator.FML.1.4.2.r03.Universal
ExtraBees-1.4.1.10-dev-build
Optifine_1.4.2_HD_U_B5
PowerConverters 1.4.2
Wireless Redstone (Not ChickenBone currently)

They all seem to work fine and they are installed with the Edit Mod Pack function of the launcher in the "Mod" tab with the exception of Optifine which is in the JarMod tab.

However, when trying to install Additional Pipes, it crashes during launch.

I have tried both:
AdditionalPipes-2.1.3u24
AdditionalPipes-2.1.3u28b2
(Click on the version for the pastebin error logs.)

The recent additional pipe versions can be found here.

I haven't yet tried disabling the third party mods listed above before installing.
EDIT: Tried - Still doesn't work.

Does anyone have a solution?

The first thing you should ask yourself before downloading addons is "what version of Minecraft am I actually running". Try that and see if that sheds some light on your issue... ;)

I was going to be very sarcastic and say that the link I downloaded from was for 1.4.2
But then I realised that I must have clicked the wrong link thinking I clicked the one for 1.4.2 when really I clicked the one for 1.4.4 by mistake.

Well caught.

EDIT: Okay I've installed the correct version this time - still can't believe I fucked up like that. The version needed is u17 for future reference. I'm going to try installing it on my server too.
(Note: Since this place is quite anal about the distributing links to downloads, this is the source I was given from the additionalpipe forum post here at post #1904.)
EDIT2: Works fine on the server.

Well, it is probably the single most common reason why a mod won't install properly, from what I've seen so far here on the forums. People aren't really used to it anymore due to the huge leap from 1.2.5 to 1.3.2 that took most mods forever and a day, and everything was simply compatible with for example Technic/Tekkit because there were no other versions around. But now that that's done and over with, I see many mods update at least once per week, often hot on the heels of official Minecraft updates.

Glad it works for you now ;)

Thing is I'm normally pretty good with checking versions, I can honestly say I feel pretty embarrassed for the mis-click let alone broadcasting it.
Having said that, I'm only human and if people don't like it they can bite me.

Now I'm just figuring out how to patch my tp for it.

I think it goes in the gfx/buildcraft/ folder in the zip ever since BC changed their folder layouts.

Thanks again for the catch.
