Problem Downloading With Launcher

So I downloaded the launcher from the website both the exe and the .jar, and when i have put my login details and clicked launch, it says "downloading please wait" it does not give the amount of kb it is downloading nore does it download at all. Now I did this on my pc (desktop) then I tried it on my laptop, it worked on my laptop. Both my Pc and my Laptop are downloading from the same source so i don't know what to do? Help Please!
