Hi guys,
I've got a question about the correlation between mods and pregenerated maps.
I mean, i already have a map, which i'd like to upload to the server(mod server). Yet, i also have some mods that randomise the world and add few new items (well, as usually mods do xd).
The question is - will i find the "mod items" in a pregenerated world? Will they appear there as in a normal world? If not, then what should i do?
Thx for any help. :)

mod world gen like ores and temples and trees won't happen but everything else will.
you can use minetweaker and cofhcore to fix most issues. thaumcraft eldritch altars won't spawn and you'll never know where they're supposed to be.

Some mods provide a config for retrogen, i.e. regenerating features in already generated chunks. This way you should be able to at least have mod ores (if not then you can use CoFH Core).

Difficult to answer. Many mods support their own rengeration.
For those that don't, COFHCore can be used to generate mod ores - but will require config.
And World Generation Manager can be used to force regeneration of mod content more generally.
Things like biomes and structures (village structures) are going to be missing however, even with the above options.
