Hi guys, running a small private server, nothing huge, and wanna pre-render a large area of the map to minimize lag from people exploring. Any suggestions for tools to get this done? Looked into MLG and MCedit but cant see how I would use these for heavily modded minecraft (tried to use MLG and all I got was a mass of version errors).
Any help is appreciated

WorldBorder has a pre-render function. It doesn't mess with the generation and uses what's there. Everything generates as usual and can even (although I would NOT recommend it - Lots of lag + RAM) be running whilst player(s) are on your server.

Will that permanently limit the world size? or will it be temporary?

EDIT: Doesnt seem to recognise the plugin using the FTB jar

As HaoSs said, Permanent, However it does not limit the actual world size, just the distance in which players can travel.

The worldborder can be changed and removed at will. You could set a worldborder, fill it, then remove the worldborder.
