Hello, i need some help. First of all im not sure where to put this, so im just gonna do it here.

Im using the 152ngt 0.7 modpack. I have the powertool, and the powerarmor. But then i want to swift over to nano armor, but still use the powertool, i have a little problem. The powertool is using the Eu Form my armor, and not the power from it self. I can't find anything in the config to turn it off, and i can't really use my nano armor, as the powertool just drain the power way to quick. So if anyone can help me, i will be happy:D

So what's the question?

Heh.

Anyway, all energy using tools follow that pattern and there's no way around that, get bigger energy storage. Advanced nano, quantum or the gravi chest plate.

You could also turn the tool down, so that it uses less energy.

MPS is designed to pull energy from the bottom up. Feet, legs, chest, helmet, and tool comes last. I don't remember if batteries in your inventory come first or last, but they get used too. It doesn't matter what armor or energy-type you're using either.

They charge in the same direction as well.

Hold on, I thought that the nano armour was not intended to be used as a power source as well (hence the reason for the advanced nano armour)? If that's the case then this is more of a bug than anything, surely?

Which, IMHO, is really inconvenient - because if there's anything you don't want failing unexpectly on you it's your ability to absorb fall damage.

Well, the mps energy storage modules have an IC tier settings, nano should be tier... 1? Maybe the tool will stop sucking from your nano if you set it higher.

Nope, still take the EU from my nano armor, even if i set the tier to 3. Is a problem, as it take almost all the EU from the armor really fast

am i the only one who thinks that issue created by OP himself? why are you even bothering with nano, after you`ve made power armor? just slap more upgrades on it, and you`ll see how better it is

Im just not the biggest fan of that armor:/
But even if you (masochistically) don't like the jetpack, the speed boost, the no fall damage, the glider, the night vision and the 3995305993 other amazing things that MPS can give you, it's still better than the nanosuit even just in terms of armour values.

All MPS pieces can draw power from all other MPS pieces. So your boots can draw power from your helmet to activate the shock absorbers.

And yes, batteries in your inventory have their energy consumed first. That's left my portable scanner useless far too many times >.<

anyway, just want to know if there is a way to turn it off. I don't like that i have to drain all the power out of my EU armor.. For when im going to use Quantum Armor

it appears to be no way to do such by in-game means. try looking into mods configs, although i doubt there is such option.

I hate the way to powerarmor fly. That's why i want the graviChestplate:)
that`s a valid point, however you can use gravi with other pieces being power armor. in later builds, and that included in 1.5.2 ftb beta with flight controls it behaves like gravi, but with addition of 1 key.
