Is there a way to use IC2 power, converted to BC power, without the golden conductive pipes blowing up? I currently have it set up with a MFE to lv transformer to LV consumer and then the BC producer with a wooden conductive pipe but the energy just builds up till its ready to blow. Is there a solution to this?

I was trying to store energy for BC use before I have the resources for the REC... And maybe even avoid the REC all together...

Any advice would be great as this is my first attempt with Power converters.

You will find the Redstone Energy Cell works phenomenally well with the Energy Bridge so I'd recommend against avoiding it, it's worth 2.5 MFEs after the conversion. Additionally conduits are strictly superior to pipes for power transfer (in fact over very long distances they're superior even to glass fiber cable!) so they're worth it too.

As for your question: Attaching the producer directly to the machine you want to power will work perfectly, although that might make your logistics a bit awkward.

Solution, always have a drain, such as a rolling machine because they're constantly dissipating power.

Or don't use BC conductive pipes and use Thermal expansion energy conduits instead

This would be the second play through and last time I used the REC. This time I am trying to go a different dirrection. I will eventually use the thermal expansion items and such, but as of right now I am still trying to get a decent ore processing system going.[DOUBLEPOST=1367113491][/DOUBLEPOST]

Will the energy conduits explode? If not I guess I will push to get them as quickly as I can.

Energy conduits do not explode, and they only have a 5% energy loss no matter the distance of travel.
