possible to farm dimensional shards?

ive been working on an automated infusion system and im hitting a snag...how do I get dimensional shards for thaumic tinkerer?

tried mfr grinder, iron spikes, autonomous activator with looting 3 weapons...no shards. at least not from endermen. havent tried pigmen yet. I am using an autospawner to bring the enders in..dunno if that impacts the chance of those item drops. i also have a cursed earth room with grinders, havent seen a shard from enders in that trap either.

Well, quick question... what dimension are you doing this in? Nether shards are from the nether, End shards from the end. Gotta kill 'em there.

Mob farm in the nether/end, kill them with XU spikes. An autonomos activator with a sword should work as well.
Personally I use cursed earth and draw the mobs into spikes with a corporal attractor =)
