Portal Gun Problems...

For whatever reason, the Orange portal won't stay put. I'm traveling a bit of a good distance, about 700 blocks. Sometimes it stays, sometimes it won't. Sometimes it disappears when I pass through the blue portal and come out the orange, I look back and it's gone. Other times I try to pass back through blue and no bueno.

It used to work then somehow I lost my current gun so I made another...since then...this.

Solution?

Are you on a server? If so, you'll need to make the personalized bacon portal gun to prevent interference from other portal gun wielding players.

Yea, but its really just me lately. Just with two other friends. I guess it's interfering with that magically disappearing portal gun I made before. Thanks.

Could the chunk be unloading?

Portal gun going from single player to having to having to be multilayer caused a lot of bugs in the code.

I believe Ichun is re writing then whole mod.
