Portal Gun, multiplayer interference!

Hello guys.
Me and some friends have a private whitelisted server, where we play the Mindcrack pack.
Most of us found a portal gun, in dungeons, and other treasure chests.
Now the problem is, that we have some of the same guns (like the "P-buddy's portal gun").
Is there a way, to make the portal gun portals individual for the players.

If not, how do the mindcrask guys do this ?

Put a portal gun into a crafting grid with a piece of bacon. Bam, personal portals.

We allready have, alle the different kinds on portal guns.
That is the big problem

The bacon gun and potato gun (need to make PotatOS to use that, though) are specifically designed to not interfere with other bacon/potato guns.

I have noticed the portal guns in dungeons are not able to put bacon on them. If you craft your own it is possible but the dungeon ones do not work with bacon. Sorry
