Portal Gun Mod

I see this mod being added to pack after pack. Tracking MC version changes since 1.4.7 all the way to a 1.6.x compatible version.
However, over that entire span, the material emanicpation grill, and thermal discouragement beams can not be placed with a message "Do not place! this is for testing only".

Does anyone have insight if that functionality might ever be completed?

The thermal discouragement beams used to work. That was about a year ago though. It shot a beam that did damage to anything in front of it and was kind of cool; I miss that item.
