Today, while playing around in my testworld, I accidently ran across this:
You can use iChuns Portal- or Gravitygun to mine!
How it works:
You find the Blocks you want to mine.
You grab them...
And drop them on a torch,
As you can clearly see, various blocks (beehives, ore, bookshelves and even glass) can be mined, as long as they are standard non TileEntity or custom render blocks.
This method doesn't work on: Thaumcraft blocks, leaves, flowers etc., wires and some others.
These two guys will probably be nerfed, because it gives you a completely infinite super silktouch mining tool.
The only downside is that its rather slow, though I managed to mine about as quick a stone tools.
