Portal Gun add on - Moon dimension

I was playing with my portal gun the other day and thought about trying the portal to the moon, I noticed you die once you go into it, and it sucks up mobs and items around it. I was wondering if there is a mod that allows the moon to be a dimension, like the nether or the Twilight forest. It would be an awesome idea to make a mod out of, and maybe if you don't have a portal gun, you could make a portal using some type of material, sorta like a nether portal, or mystcraft portal.

Have you beaten Portal 2? Because I'm fairly sure you are missing something here. There's plenty of videos of the ending on Youtube you can find.
