Hello, i have been trying to portforward my mc server, so i don't need to use hamachi, since too many of my friends are encountering problems with it.
But, i don't seem to be able to set it up correctly.
I did the portforward on my router, to allow the port 25565 to pass through a UDP connection.
And i set up my pc for the static ip 192.168.1.4
And i checked my external ip, and gave it, alongside my port to my friends, but they can't connect to my server.

Anione got any ideas on what i might be doing wrong?

I have checked my computer firewall and router firewall settings to see if they are blocking java or the port.

Heatman it can maybe be if you have hamachi install while your trying, ofc it making an Lan Router kinda on your pc and making you connection to not connect at all, so try delete hamachi if you have it install and maybe make your pc on your router DMZ, it can be found under firewall on most routers:) if that not works i have no ide:)

Also, what equipment did your ISP install for you? A lot of this equipment (cable & DSL modems) now have routers built into them as well. You might need to configure that device and your router to make this work.
