THAT WAS THE FIRST FUCKIN GYM. Oh and don't worry. I have it down in my notes that if he beats the elite four one day before me I'll say that you would have needed it to fight the first gym.
The fact it was the first gym makes it worse. There were two pokemon to beat, meaning he could have just spammed it with pokes. This one, I have max pokes and am still losing.
