plugin/mod question

Hi.

Just wondering if anyone can help me/point me in the right direction.

My player have requested I replace our server with ftb ultimate, while I am more than happy to do it I have no idea how to manage the server 'plugins'. From what I have read some plugins like permissions and anti grief can be installed as mods?

How would I do this, and would it mean the players would have to install extra mods into their packs?

Everything I have found on the web about his seems vague at best so I would appreciate it very much if someone knows of a tutorial somewhere? I am so used to just dropping plugins into a folder.

To utilize plugins for Feed the Beast servers you must install BukkitForge or MCPC.
This is not supported by the Feed the Beast team, and any issues you incur using BukkitForge should be brought up with the creator.

Another option is to use MCPC plus, which is also not supported by the FTB developers and you will need to bring up all issues with MCPC plus with its creators. You can find information about it here: https://github.com/MinecraftPortCentral/MCPC-Plus.

Feed the beast servers are set up exactly the same way as Vanilla servers, by default (there is no plug in support presently).
