Please tell me what is going on!

Alright, so today I was excited to play the direwolf20 pack but I can't due to a pretty bad lag spike problem. The computer I'm using is pretty amazing so hardware is not the issue (it's late and I don't feel like gathering this things specs right now, it isn't necessary anyways). I have played FTB flawless in the past but every 2- 5 seconds I get a fairly large lag spike and a console message saying:

everytime a lag spike occurs. The game is virtually un-playable and I have no server running (this is on survival singleplayer and LAN is not on). If anyone knows how to solve this, PLEASE tell me because I really want to play this game...

Please post your console logs to pastebin. It sounds like you're running out of RAM, but without logs, that's only a guess.

Use the jvm arguments from the thread linked below. Allocate no more than 5gb if you have enough ram to be able to do that. If not then tell me how much ram you do have.

To use the arguments simply copy and paste them into the additional jvm parameters box in advanced options.
