I want to clear this area but it wont go green. I have power in the form of a redstone energy cell right next to the filler, so that shouldn't be a problem. I already set up the landmarks and the yellow/black lines have shown up, what could be the problem?

got me... try breaking it and reseting it Ive had fillers go all DERP on me and that is the only thing that fixes it for me. I have no idea if the redstone bat works with them though I just bring engines with me when I use one.

9 glass blocks for the pattern?
Nm just saw the pics.

Is there a liquid in the way of the area to be cleared?

Instead of breaking it you should be able to just pull out and replace a piece of glass and it will reset itself without the lines going away. Is there any lava that was within the area before hand, or now even?

Liquid should not be a issue unless it is lava and then it only seems to be a problem when it hits it. I've been using a filler for my underwater part of my base to build rooms with out issue.

Fillers are buggy. They can also be dangerously buggy I unfortunately discovered.

Two nights ago, I couldn't get mine to go green. I'd used fillers in Tekkit before, so I know I had it set up correctly. Out of frustration, I picked the filler up and then replaced it. The light went green! And then we lagged and the server crashed. It was a nasty crash, too. The chunk was corrupted. I deleted my player.dat file and relocated to spawn. The server ran smoothly until I got anywhere close to that chunk - then crash. I posted a support ticket here with the server crash log, but no one could decipher it. The only way I could get us back online was to roll back the server.

I think that the filler works fine as long as you have fairly flat land underneath your landmarked area. If there are gorges and lava and such under it, it wigs out.
