Problem [PLEASE HELP] I can't join my own FTB revelation server :(.

So when I try to connect to my FTB Revelation server I get this in the launcher console:

Other people can join my server, but I can't

P.S In the server console it says that I got disconnected without connecting to the server.

I googled that first line, and it's suggesting that something on your PC is blocking the connection. Check your AV and firewall.

Ok, so I turned off my firewall and anti-virus. But I still got the same message :(.

Ok, so I turned off my firewall and anti-virus.
But where did you turned it off? AV is never the problem in my experience.

If you have a server/client setup, you really should specify what you do where in these forums. Like turning off something, on which server? Are they hosted on the same box? Need more specific setup info.

So if the problem is the host, you should try turning off the firewall on that host, not the client. If it works after turning it off, DO TURN IT BACK ON and make a port exception. Don't let it stay off!

Edit: Check you versions. Last week I could not connect to my own server because I hadn't updated my client version to the same one as I had updated my server to. Bleh :p
