Probably because he wants to play on a server and now he's said he's 12 he can't and anyone looking up his name will see this. He could ofc just edit the post

Actually that does seem to be an oversight [I can't find the option either]

I guess you could log out, and turn off all your email notifications- then just forget about us. [clear your history too]​

-also write a really sappy farewell post; you probably made some friends on here who'll want to say goodbye.

Getting yourself banned would work, but really would not be a good way to go.
[also it won't be a permanent deletion; so you might have a few issues if you miss us and want to come back]

Pretty sure it is deliberate that there is no "Delete account" option anywhere. This is to ensure that no one can get their account hacked/stolen and then deleted, causing quite the nightmare for mods having to restore the accounts.

But pretty sure if you are the proud owner of a Tin foil hat and really must have your account deleted to prevent it from falling into the hands of the Dark Forces, then a simple PM to a GM would do the trick.
