I play on the awesome Iongaming FTB server, but I've recently got a lot of complaints about my house giving people a 30+ fps drop, players actually moved away from me because it was unbearable. I have no such problems and my comp is OK by today's standards and I run at ~40 fps, weather I'm at my house or somewhere else (even without vsync). I have optifine and most things i have set to fancy and my render distance is far. So, what can be the problem at my house, and I already checked most possibilities, I dont have crystal chests, dont have power loops, all my timers are set to 1< secs other than one for my sorting system, but that turns on only if theres stuff in my chests. All that I have running is a steves carts tree farm and a charcoal feeding system for my boiler. Links are screenshots. thanks.

i've had similar issues at my personal house on my server. I dismantled 90% of the tech in my house, only to find that a server update fixed the issue.

What version was this? Because im currently on mindcrack 8.1.1, should i wait till 8.2.0 too see if that fixes it?

Sorry, I run a private mod pack. I would say 'yes' tentatively, I know I'm a bit more ahead on versions than most of the mod packs.

Sorry can't be more helpful.

Thanks, and when you took apart your home, did one certain block cause the lag?

the dismantle didn't help. I can say it wasn't my power system and ic2 machines and it wasn't related to my redpower based sorting system, nor was it cause by turtle or computers.

edit* just thought, it might have be related to chicken chunk loaders, as this was uninstalled in my update.

Thanks a lot for your help, i have a huge quarry set up under my house simply for chunk loading, ill try remove it and see if that helps.

Clever! I like that quarry idea. I know there's a memory leak issue going on which might be causing the low FPS.

Nope, didnt fix it, ill post the fix if i find it. also its not a memory leak becaue that would lag the server, the problem here is that the clients lag there.

Ive found that the lag starts at soon as the house renders, i have no idea what it can be, ill just wait till after the update to destroy my house.

Back in 1.2.5 days I found that the yellow box the quarry created (the guidelines for the frame) could cause massive FPS lag sometimes. I had to remove the quarry AND restart the server. Maybe that bug is still around?

So the rendered lines or the blocks?

It was the rendered lines I guess. The ones that appear immediately after you place the quarry, and the land marks pop off the ground. In that case, those lines were still there even though the frame had been built, and you could be hundreds of blocks away and look in that direction, and your FPS would disappear.

no thats not the problem, the lag starts as soon as my house renders not if one looks in the direction. I think its the chicken chunks glitch described earlier, i hope the next update will fix it, ill also talk to the server leader to remove that mod since its banned anyways.
