Windows .exe Plate Bending Machine does not work in MP [ultimate 1.0.2]

When I download the server through the launcher and play locally on the stand alone server then I can't get the Plate Bending Machine working.

When I do the exact same setup in single player the Plate Bending Machine does work.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Place Plate Bending Machine
2. Insert a battery for power
3. Insert a ingot to bend.

On the MP map it consumes the item and power from the battery (2000 eu), but does not produce the item
On the SP map it consumes the item and power from the battery and does produce the item

Update:
A friend of mine (co-admin) been working on this issue (I am at work, hooray).
He did a fully fresh install with the server, copied over our world+region folders etc. And then the bending machine worked.
The mystcraft worlds didn't though. So he copied over the data directory and now the mystcraft worlds are working, however the bending machine has stopped working. (Both in the overworld as in any mystcraft world)

We (he) might have narrowed it down to just the age files beloning to mystcraft

The problem has been resolved.

The problem was that he used a upgrade on the bending machine, thus that specific bending machine was broken, apparantly upgrading bending machines breaks them or something. Deleting the machine and adding a new one through creative solved the problem. Crafting it manually also worked.
