Planter doesn't work with Soil

I'm trying to get a decent farm set up in FTB Ultimate and I can't get the MineFactory Reloaded Planter to plant anything on the XYCraft Soil.

Can anyone tell me if this is a bug? If so will it be corrected in the future? If not will that functionality be added in the future?

It isn't what you can call ''a bug'', is more of a compatibility issue between mods.

and if it will be fixed in the future? maybe.
