Hi folks. I've been running a dedicated, in-home minecraft server for my son, his friends and myself for some time now and just recently, although I have no idea after which update, this piston glitch has shown up.

The piston has retracted but has left an image of the extended piston behind which has to be broken:

And then the piston will work again.

While in this glitched state it will not allow anything to pass through, so my sugar cane farm isn't 100% and there's no rhyme nor reason as to which pistons will glitch or when.

The pistons are being powered by restone wire running across the back of every piston and the issue appears regardless of what triggers the piston.

I have updated FTB client and server twice since this issue began appearing and there has been no fix, that i've seen on the mojang forum. They just seem to be saying it's a copy of another issue whenever anyone posts about it and if you follow the trail the original post has no fix.

Here is my spec:

FTB Ultimate server using version 1.1.2, Minecraft version 1.4.7

Server hardware:

Asus Rampage II Extreme
Intel Core I7 920 @ 3.2Ghz
6Gb OCZ Platinum @ 1600Mhz
OCZ Vertex 3 120Gb SSD
ATI Radeon HD4800
Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard

Client PC Hardware:

Asus Rampage III Extreme
Intel Core I7 920 @ 3.2Ghz
6Gb Corsair Dominator @ 1600Mhz
OCZ Vertex 3 240Gb
ATI Radeon HD6950 1GB
Windows 7 Professional SP1

Both PCs are using Java Version 7 Update 21 (build 1.7.0_21-b11)

Any help greatly appreciated.
