Pigs... Pigs everywhere!

Hello again everybody,

One of the people that plays on my server decided it would be a great idea to place all of the pig spawners he found, and now I've got about a thousand pigs around my base, that I believe are causing my server to kick me.

So, my question is this: Is there any way for me to force all mobs to de-spawn, so that I can - hopefully - clear all of this lag?

You could install a plugin into your server temporarily or maybe permanently by the sounds of the server players that allows you to clear all entities.
I know essentials has /killall but essentials might be too much just to be able to clear some mobs.
Sorry i cannot help further but i don't play on any other server apart from my private survival one.

Not a bad idea, and that's what I was considering. I was hoping someone here would have an easier solution... Oh well. Thanks anyways!

There is! Go in Server Settings and there should be Spawn Monsters and Spawn Animals and depending on what Control panel your using, it'll either have Yes/no or Enable/Disable. Once you do that then just restart the server and break all spawners and then turn the option back on. Idk what you gotta do if your running a server without those control panel. (oh and ban the idiot for producing a Lag Machine)

That's whether to spawn them or not... It won't remove existing mobs...

No this work once the server is restarted. Had a stupid cow farm that the cows caused some racket in the Logs saying "cow in Wrong Location!!"

Yes, that's what I tried. After a restart, the pigs were gone!!! Didn't fix the lag sadly.

Time to find out who's got another Lag Machine(s) going on. Open up Chunkloaders and then visit all forced loaded chunks. You'll eventually boil down the base(s) that causing the lag. Ban the idiot if it seem an obvious Lag Machine. If just items spilling out say a quarry just turn off the thing and tell the user(s) to fix it or get ban for producing mass lag.

Okay, thanks. Just one question: How do I open the ChunkLoaders interface?

Do /Chunkloaders then the application will pop up on your computer so have MC not full screen and then you can figure out from there. Not the most useful but hey it's something. Like be able to search by player would be nice.
