Hello,

I've been trying to adjust the metals in my smeltery in the tinker's construct mod, but they are adamant in staying put. I've pushed a wide array of buttons on my keyboard and mouse to try and send specific molten metals to the bottom or top of my machine, but they will not move. I am curious if anyone else has had this problem occur and if they have found a solution at all, my current one is to slowly ingot by ingot pour out the metals until I get to the one I want, but that really discourages me from filling the device to the brim with the spoils of any recent expeditions. On a side note, I've seen stacks being thrown into the machine from above and them being smelted as if they had been put into the controller, this lovely feature unfortunately isn't working for me and I've been forced to break the side blocks of my smeltery (which didn't remove the current metals at all and I walked into a pool of colors to retrieve my stacks of iron before replacing the wall). In any case, this mod is extremely exciting to me and I am frustrated at these inconsistencies to how I've seen the mod run and how I am experiencing it. I thank you for any help in understanding what is going on.

I don't know of a way to sort liquids, but you can pour them into tanks. I prefer using Thermal Expansion's portable tanks; just be sure to shift+right click them with a crescent hammer. From there, you can use liquiducts to sort them out. Not only can you pump molten metals into any tank, but you can also use faucets on any tank, thus freeing you from the need to have them in the actual smeltery. Lastly, you can simply automate casting by sticking a Redstone Clock (the item) on top of a faucet and placing a vanilla hopper below the casting table/basin. So, it's doable with a few other mods.

Still, if there's a way to do it with just TiCo, I'd be interested

I've been able to move the liquids around in the smeltery by just left-clicking on them. Did so in fact a couple of hours ago so I could get some liquid ender out of the way for iron.
