This crash has occurred at least 4 out of 6 attempts to start the game. Last two have been successful starts.
All trouble shooting steps were followed. - Replaced Java - fresh install FTB - etc.

Keep trying, if the last 2 have been successful starts, then your problem may be fixed

Indicates that an other program has this file open. Most often this is an Anti-Virus with a RTS (Real Time Shield). The best thing to do is to add the launcher installation folder and the installation path set in the launcher to the exclude list of the RTS.

Thank you, I verified that the AV (Avast) does indeed have exceptions set for Minecraft and FTB. Hopefully this will help to resolve much of the issues. Thank you for your help.
