Perms Required for IC2 API?

I do not have IndustrialCraft 2 in my modpack, but some of my mods require the IC2 API (Mekanism) to run, so I have added it to my modpack (this works and lets me properly run the modpack). However, in the permissions spreadsheet the IC2 API isn't listed. Would it's permissions be the same as IndustrialCraft 2, or would I have to contact the owner and request permission? (This may seem like a dumb question, but I would like to know just in case.)

Dont worry IC2 is a open to use mod ic2 api = ic2 hope that sorts your problem

Thanks! I just wanted to verify before I tried to push it through one of my updates and got told it wasn't allowed or something.

yeah i nearly sent thru an update with optifine installed by mistake when i was testing! XD
