We regularly add mods to the site as we encounter them in submitted packs. While it's appealing to simply add every mod we can find, it's actually a decent bit of work, and leads to a system with lots of very rarely used mods.

I'm going to informally restrict this thread to corrections to existing mods and add requests from mod authors for their own mods.

Could you update the Professor Flaxbeard's Steam Power entry?
Name should be changed to simply Flaxbeard's Steam Power
Author should be changed to either "The Esteemed Innovation Team", or if you want you can list all the members of the team (listed here http://ftb.gamepedia.com/Esteemed_Innovation_Team)

After quite a bit of work, we are proud to announce we are moving from the permissions spreadsheet to a new permissions website.

It can be found here

While we aren't ready to open up editing to the general public, this does let the entire third party team update and add mods. Together, we've added over a hundred new mods in just the last few days.

Big thanks to @Captainnana and @Jake_Evans for their help on this.

This information is also available in json form for anyone who might want to use it.

Please now use this thread to suggest new mods and corrections. We need the mod id to add new mods.


Hello, I am the author of Pattysmoretools and Pattysmoretools2. I've noticed on the site here when I search for my mod it shows for my PattysmoreTools unknown, and Pattysmoretools2 as request. In my curse forge listed here. It says under "Modpack Permissions" Feel free to use my mod in your pack provided you don't make any money off of it." So could you please change both of the statues for my mod to "Open"? Thank you.

Found a couple more issues reading through:
  • Enhanced Portals has duplicate authors (Alz454)
  • Advanced Machines (atomicstryker) has no modids (should be 'AdvancedMachines', based on the mcmod.info)

Fixed the authors.

That's actually a tricky one. Both advanced machines mods have the same mod id. So we kinda just check for it manually.

Gotcha. Sorry for so many posts, but it seems the modids for IvToolkit are also screwy, showing 'ivorius\/ivtoolkit\/IvToolkitCoreContainer ' as well as 'ivtoolkit'.

That's probably intentional. I bet the mod id is literally "ivorius/ivtoolkit/IvToolkitCoreContainer". Mods often have more than one ID.
