permissions and licenses question

Ok so far i have been able to get permissions where needed etc and all is going well but i had to wonder about some fringe cases

if a mod uses GNU General Public License version 3 (GPLv3)

which in laymans terms is https://www.gnu.org/licenses/quick-guide-gplv3.html

and therefore "The freedom to share the software with your friends and neighbors"

Do we need to do more then link to the page showing the license?

Permissions wise that's fine. But FTB requires credit to the mod and author as well, so you need to link the mod page if that isn't the one with the license.

ah cool, so far its not been an issue but its better to have the knowledge and not need it then to need it and not have it
