This is my very first post on this forum, even though i've been using FTB since its beginning ( and almost all of its mods before that ).
I also apologize for the grammar errors that may occur, i'm french and not completely at ease with english yet.
I run OS X 10.7.5 (Lion) on a Macbook air, with 4 Go of ram, the java version is 7 update 45 (the most recent at the moment)
The FTB launcher is the 1.2.7 version, and i tried to use the Direwolf20 v2 pack for my server (every version of it, from the 1.1.3 to the 1.1.6) and got a java Permgen error each time (it's a small server, just for me and 1-2 friends).
However, i had other problems before that i think you should know about :
when i created a server for the first time, the original shell script didn't work, it's this one :
java -Xms512M -Xmx1G -XX
ermSize=128m -jar ftbserver.jar
So i went on youtube and found another script, this one :
#!/bin/bash
cd "$(dirname "$0")"
exec java -Xmx5G -Xms5G -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui
I simply replaced the original script with this one, changed the "ftbserver.jar" to "minecraft_server.jar", and it ran fine, until the pack got to 1.5 v2, now it crash every time i launch the server
I tried to obtain a crash log, but it is a different one for every version of the pack, if it is really needed, i will post it.
