Peat Bog in Infinity Evolved

Hey guys, I was looking in NEI and didn't see any way to make a peat bog, did they take that out of forestry? I see bog earth and peat so I know you can still make it, but it doesn't look possible to automate it.

Forestry has gone through a sea change since last you apparently played with it. Instead of using a Peat Bog and Turberator, it now is done with the multiblock farm. You have to use a soldering iron to make a chipset with the appropriate chip in the multiblock farm to make it function as the old peat bog you recall.

went by the information on that. Found out later, parts of it are vastly outdated. It is still accurate on lots of it though. Just not the farm layout by size. I haven't figured out which if any of the information sets actually covers it accurately. Even the main forestry site says there information is outdated.

OK. just looked. the forestry layout information seems like it matches versions. It just hasn't updated the information for future versions yet.

I guess I was just looking at all the information wrong. Turns out none of the packs I have played are using the 4.1 version. Though it is available.

Yeah the link I posted is a bit vague on the farm area layout of newer versions, but if you look in the "Notes" it mentions it there:

As of forestry_1.7.10-3.4.0.7 farm sizes have increased considerably. A 3×3×4 multi-block structure creates a 15×15m farm and a 5×5×4 structure makes a 35×35m Farm.

As far as I know- bog earth just needs to be adjacent to water to mature; the Forestry farm [old or new] is convenient automation option rather than an absolute necessity.
