Peacefull Only?

So my FTB games started acting strange yesterday, it will only let me play in peaceful mode, if I change to any other mode I get a shutting down internal server message and the game crashes. I tried to log into the support site with this log in info and it gives me an error saying doesn't exist and when I try to create a new account on the support site I get another error saying can not be created from this account. I am at a loss as what to do next.
Please Help

Is it making you play in peaceful mode in all modpacks, or one in particular? Which one?

I'm playing the Ultimate modpack too, yesterday (30th October) my modpack was crashing from a "LivingSpecialSpawnEvent" error. Is your log showing the same thing?
If so, it's a problem with IndustrialCraft, there's a patch called IC2SeasonalPatch that fixed it for me.

I'm guessing you're having the same problem as I was because Monster and Unleashed use a newer version of IndustrialCraft. Ultimate is an older modpack.

If you install that patch as an extra mod (using the same method as Optifine), your game should stop crashing.
I'm not 100% sure if that LivingSpecialSpawnEvent error is causing your problem with the game difficulty, but it might fix it.

Awesome stuff, as for the server I'm not really knowledgeable on how servers work.
Maybe try installing that patch as a server mod, and with such a small patch I doubt you'd need to install the same patch client-side.
Give it a go as a server mod and log in with an unpatched Ultimate client see if it works anyway, I don't know of any reasons why it won't.

So I had a friend try connecting to my LAN game and he kept getting a timed out error and couldn't connect. He then installed the patch and connected the first try, so I'm guessing they do need it also.

Alright no worries, better than nothing working at all.
Hopefully it's just a problem for this time of the year, because otherwise the game should work fine without the patch. I've been playing Ultimate for well over a year now but never encountered this problem before.
If you uninstall that patch in a day or two from now and the game works without it, you should be golden.
