Windows .exe Packs not showing up on the launcher?

My friend is having a problem with the launcher in that only certain packs are showing up, from what I understand he hasnt altered/filtered anything. The packs that are showing up are:
Ultimate 1.0.1
Yogcraft 1.0.0
Direwolf20 5.2.0 (1.4.7)
Mindcrack Pack 8.2.0
RPG immersion 1.0.1
FTB lite 1.2.0
Voxel 9.5
Magic World 7.2.0
Tech World 1.2.0
FTB Retro SMP 1
FTB retro SSP 3
Bronie 2.7.2
FTB Beta A 12

He is using the latest version of the launcher (1.2.6). Any help would be appreciated

Not sure what the problem is. Did he install it the recommended way? With the latest versions of Java and drivers for his computer? Could you get a console log in debug mode from the launcher and post it to pastebin.com and link to it here. Check here for more info on the logs.
