I have recently started TRYING to use p2p tunnels with my new ae2 network, but i don't know what i'm doing wrong.

This is my current network, and this is the p2p tunnel that im trying to link my drives with. (the one my crosshair is on)

i have 32 drives attached, yet the smart cable says 1, and only 8 drives work. i dont know what else to do. i have plenty of power. some proof that only 8 work:

Doesn't look like any channel is used on the dense cable? Is there a disconnect before the smart cable that is connected to the drives? Maybe the load / save of the P2P tunnel settings using the memory card didn't work.

to use p2p tunnels
it's does not work like U want.
any AE2 block transfer only 8 channels.
but Ur construction is 4*8 ME drives. so U powerup only first two 'layers' (2*4) of drives.
U need 4 p2p or dense cable out p2p. And split Ur construction on 4 1*8 blockswith space between them.

i fixed it guys, i used a smarts cable out of my main fluix cable, then used 4 p2p tunnels and had smart cable coming out of each, with 8 drives on each smart cable. this is my current setup for storage (smart cable uses 4 channels, each dense uses 8):2015-11-26_07.53.20.pngthis is the p2p on the other end (its says 31 channels used because theres a drive missing)2015-11-26_07.53.35.pngand to show it is working:2015-11-26_07.53.43.pngthanks for the help guys

Basically only 8 channels can go through machines. Just because you don't have any non-dense cables between the controller and the machines doesn't mean you can put 32 machines in a row.
