Killed by someone else will be killed, and died via own power is died. Other than that, no other information.
It's there as a safeguard in case something like the Infiltrator joining the Church happens - the Church people would know who to kill immediately if it said "Muse Thaila was murdered by the Infiltrator." There's some other scenarios as well where it would be nice and not expose a person completely.
If i'm obliged to designate a successor, I don't see why a new vote is required.
They're polls so you can see public opinion of your actions as mayor.
I know pyure is a Proven villager, but I don't mind voting at him. I'm just a Villager so, yeah. Also I like to make people vote at me. And no, I'm not the jester (dunno even if this role is here).
