Is this intended or bug that empty liquiducts (but connected) and tanks in semi-outdoor area will get filled with rain water at random?
Water is getting inside a using but empty liquiduct and there is a mysterious 100mb water in my steel tank.

I've noticed that holding an empty bottle in your hand outdoors while it rains replaces the bottle with a rainwater bottle. No idea which mod adds that. o_O

You sure just holding it? Suppose you have to use the empty bottle in rain to get rainwater, that's added recently by Thaumic Tinker for getting Aer aspect.
Not sure if it has something to do with tanks and liquiducts, but it doesn't say specifically inside is rain water, rather it is just normal water.

I think it might be Thaumic Tinkerer. It uses the Aer (weather) aspect that is unused in base Thaumcraft, and the premier way of getting it is collecting rainwater in bottles.

EDIT: ninja'd! That's what I get for opening a tab and looking away for half an hour >.<

Wouldn't rain water need to be registered in the liquid dictionary for that? I don't see rain water showing up in the liquid dictionary in NEI.

I didn't say the water in the tank/liquiduct is rain water, it is just normal water. But my question is: how did it (the normal water) get inside the empty tank and liquiducts by itself.
You cannot turn the rainwater into a pool of liquid since its not in liquid dictionary, but you are able to obtain "bottle of rain water" by using an empty bottle outdoor in the rain.

I have liquiduct and iron tank outdoor, yet there is no water in my liquiduct nor tank.
How to reproduce?

I am using a steel tank (3x3x4) and I just leave the tank at a chunk loaded area. I have nothing connected to the tank at all.
It takes quite a while for that 100mb water to get in there, usually takes a couple days (real world time) if you are lucky.
While the water gets in the empty liquiduct happened more frequently, usually after a night you will see some water in it and I am pretty sure it is not visual bug, because when I pump another liquid out from the machine that connected to the liquiducts, it is blocked.

I have no idea how this happened, but the one empty tank that has this problem is in an outdoor area. So my best guess is because it is outdoor?
