Mac Outdated client + worlds not loading

When i start up FTB and launch everything works until i try to play, here is the log from when i tried to connect to a server, when i try and start a single player world it says deleting local server (or something like that) and then freezes (fixed this) the server problem is still there though
Turns out i was using the wrong ip
