Hi everyone,
My partner and I both downloaded FTB and set up a server a few days ago, mine runs fine but hers only runs for a few mins before dropping to 3-7 FPS making the game unplayable. If she keeps trying to play it spits up a "Out of memory" messge followed my a load of text along the lines of "the game has stopped to save from world corruption" or some rubbish then it gives a quit button.
This happens on the server and on single player. We have updated all drivers ect, uninstalled java and reinstalled it, tried both 32 and 64bit options, tried DW20's FTB and FTB ultimate all giving the same results.
I also tried the .exe and the jar file.
Changed the graphics to fast and lessened the render distance.
I set the ram option to 4g them 3g with no difference.
She can run VMC with no probs at all single player or multiplayer.
The server runs fine, we can both connect no probs with a good latency so i know the issue we're having is to do with her cleint.
Her system specs:
Laptop Hp ENVY m6-1178sa
I5-3210M
8g DDR3 ram
Windows 8 64bit
2 GB DDR3 dedicated AMD Radeon HD 7670M
All drivers ect are up to date.
any help would be much appreciated as we've just payed for the server to play FTB together and hate to think that we wont be able to play FTB on it.
