out of memory issue

so my ftb when i play on my ftb monster server i can be on there for a minute then it gives me out of memory and i click go back to main menu and it closes[DOUBLEPOST=1388138447][/DOUBLEPOST]btw im a new computer

8 gigs of ram

How much ram did you give to the launcher, also do you have 32bit java or 64bit java?

iv having this problem to with a 32bit computer with 4GB of ram and i would not mind using the prarimiters to get it to 3gb of ram for minecraft and FTB since i can not play the new direwolf20 mob pack on this computer buit when i use a new computer with 1gb of ram it does not come up or have a problem loading

32bit Java limits you to 1GB. If your computer/OS is 32bit you are out of luck. If you have a 64bit computer you can update your OS to 64bit, but other than that you are limited to 1GB by 32bit.
