Out of Memory Error

I was trying to lauch FTB today but for some reason my computer says that I'm out of memory. I tried to allot more memory through the launch but it maxes out at 1.0 gb. Now the launcher does not work either.

I have windows 7 ultimate, 8.0 gb of ram and have 64 bit computer.

Not 64bit according to this line below from your log:

[18:17:10] [INFO] LaunchFrame.main:172: OS: x86 Windows 7 6.1

That means you have a 32bit os. It also means your system will not use all your memory. Get a 64bit os then you will be able to use the 64bit java and allocate more memory to the launcher.

Sorry but I'm a little confused because I know that I have a 64bit computer cause my cousin built me a custom gaming computer. I'm not saying your wrong but I'm just confused. When I check my computer it says that I have a 64bit.

The log you posted of your error says on line 8 that your OS is x86 which means 32bit not 64bit.

You can check by going to the control panel and clicking on system and security then system it will tell you there what type of os you have. It if does say 64bit os then get the 64bit java and remove the 32bit one you have installed.

Oh ok. I fixed it. I do have a 64bit computer but I didn't have 64bit java. Thank you so much.
