... other player in SP world?!?

I play on a SP Infinity World and today, something very strange happened to me... As I was digging my way trough the world I found a cave system and suddendly a player name appeared on my map... I looked out for him and finally I found him... The name of that player was slowpoke101... I nearly shit my pants, and ran like hell. After a little bit of research I now know which char I stumbled upon. 15 minutes later another name appeared while I was digging (tfox83)

Is this some kind of easter egg, cause in my opinion, it can't be explained in any other way???

I'm a little bit confused at the moment ^^

Yeah, the first time you encounter them, like OP. However, by the time you've fought slowpoke or jadedcat for the hundred'th time... it just gets a bit old, and rather quickly IMO.

On the server I play on, both the quarry world and The End are ridiculous, I'll get swarmed by 10, 50 or even 100 of them coming from every direction. It's pretty LOL but with good armor and a good sword, they never even damage me.

Some of the named people drop items relating towards them. Soaryn has chest cause soarynchest. Notch drops the enchanted golden apple cause its the Notch Apple. And there are others that drop things as such. Time for the real fun to begin with the possibilitys. Not to mention you can add alot of different names to the list and they will spawn in the world such as yourself or friends.
