I'm trying to get FTB running on an iMac for my son to play but the jar isn't running. Below is a copy/paste from the console. I have checked the java support site and it says to use Apple's software update to update my java, however there are no software updates available. Java Preferences says I have Java SE 6 and J2SE 5.0. I am running OSX 10.5.8.

Is this something where I need to wait on Apple or can I do something on my end to fix this?

Code:

Try uninstalling J2SE 5.0 my guess is thatit's defaulting to java 5 rather than 6 which is why you're getting UnsupportedClassVersionError since the launcher is written for java 6.

I opened up the Java Preferences again and reordered them so Java 6 was at the top and it works now. Thanks for this!
