So, I was exploring around on my friends server when we found some Iron Ore Gravel. We were in a Jungle Biome. I'll let you look at the screenshots.

happens to me all the time. when using WAILA it still says the snow grass is a normal grass block, so I guess it's just a simple texture derp

I think this is due to lazy coding

Gravel ore can be mined only by shovel.
I think Mdyo took snow class because vanilla snow also can be mined only by shovel.
And he didn't think about snow retexturing grass block below.
