So for the longest time I have had TE ores as my default ore, and this is still true for generation. However, after smelting some stuff in my induction smelter, it came out as ic2 ingots, confusing me and my ae system immensely. Why has it changed, is there any way to change it back?

Yes, but i am not very enthusiastic to change 55,000 ingots, particularly since it cant be automated. i was curious if there was a way to simply change which ingot type was the default, however i am not sure where this option would be found.

No, i have been playing for about a month now. The whole time the default ingots have been from TE. However, for reasons unknown the game changed the default in the past couple of days, and i cannot figure out how to change it back. i run a pretty crazy frame quarry, so around 10,000 ingots of each affected ingot is not unreasonable at all (especially when you double/triple your output per ore).

Oh, the "reasons unknown" are prolly the update to the modpack ^.^

If so, is there a way to change it back? Besides reverting back to older versions

There is the unifier from MFR, but that ends up producing a kind of ingot group i have never seen before.

NEW: The Oredictionary-Unificator-Mode (Symbol looks a bit like DNA)

This Mode converts Ingots, Dusts and Gems from any other Mod into the GregTech/IC²-Variant of it (Only if there is one). So if you have 5 different not together stackable Versions of Silver Ingots (yeah, so many Mods seriously add Silver), for example, this Mode would convert them all into the Silver Ingots of GregTech. If you put Forestry Bronze into it then its getting converted into IC²-Bronze.

But wait, there is more! The integrated Unificator is also converting ANY Crafting Output automatically into the correct unificated form of the Output, so if you use the Thermal Expansion Recipe for Bronze Blend, you will get the same amount of the equivalent IC²-Bronze Dust instead! This is making automated Factories and Storage Systems less of a mess, by just making all the equivalent Dusts, Ingots and Gems, into one simple and stackable Pile of its GregTech/IC²-Format.

Straight from the wiki.... (gregs, not FTB)

Also, I learned this from this guys YouTube series.

Ahh i see, so it is the crafting table not an item dedicated to it. Well thanks, ill consider that, though i have been using TE for the whole time, and have about 500,000 of those already stored. Thanks for that though, ill start converting, though if anyone finds a way to change the config files or something like that to change it to TE, that would be great.
