optifine

I have a slow computer and to run ftb sort of smooth in even single player I need optifine so why is the no optifine in the mod packs by default?

Optifine didn't give permission to be used in modpacks.

1) No permission to do so.
2) Even if there were permission, for every one person it helps, another has problems because of it. It'd be a total support nightmare (it's already a pain in the butt with those who manually install it).

To install it for 1.5 and below you just drag the files into the jar -.-

you can do edit modpack and add optifine to jar and regular mods areas[DOUBLEPOST=1377468030][/DOUBLEPOST]oh and thanks
