Optifine-XYCraft Issue

I'd say just don't use Optifine. It causes glitches such as this and the "dancing chests".

MCPatcher is incompatible with forge, though. You will encounter many more bugs and glitches if you use MCPatcher while using forge, then you would if you used Optifine.

If I remember correctly, you'll even experience crashes on startup with Forge and MCPatcher.

I am having same issue with xycraft and factorization heater as they are both layered textures.
I am hoping for this bug to get fixed as the only reason I use optifine is for the combined glass textures with make for amazing ceilings.

What I meant is just don't use Optifine or MCPatcher at all. I'm using HD texture packs and it works perfectly fine. trust me, it's okay. Just don't use either. (Maybe forge has an optifine/mcpatcher thing in it?)

It'll work but you won't gain any of the custom lava and water or the block animationsthat some have if I am correct.

Correct, that's the sole reason that I use Optifine, for the animations, connected and random textures and shadings. Adds so much more to the gameworld then just HD.

Those are the same reasons I use optifine, but I can't stand that flickering when I go mining.

The texture pack authors can fix their textures so there is no z-fighting ... and trust me as an tp author it can be a royal PITA to fix .. had a hell of a time with the portal gun

I love the dancing chests
What I don't like is the chest lighting bugs and the crystal cluster losing colour bug. I have never had a Xycraft issue before. Maybe, just maybe, updating your Xycraft might fix this glitch you guys are talking about. Having the old Xycraft didn't make me have this problem, so again, just a thought.

PS Why is this in the texture pack section?
