Optifine Liquid Glitches

I am having some problems with optifine messing up the liquids stored in tanks and pipes. The liquid looks fine without optifine, but once it is installed they start to glitch. I have only noticed it on the liquids. I do not have flashing chunks and have not seen anything else do this. Threaded optimization is off and V sync is on.

If it is a problem with OptiFine you should post in the OF thread on MC Forums. It is a known problem, though. Possible solution is not using custom textures for lava/water.

Have you tried setting your liquid from fancy to fast (or fast to fancy)?

Tested fancy and fast still no change. I tried it on the default texture pack also and no change either.

Speaking of, have you tested to see if you still get that behavior with vanilla textures?

I think it's a problem with how it's rendered in vanilla tinkers construct, here's how it works:
Lava tank: heyahuha I'm a lava tank
Player: ok I need mah oresies so imma feel you with lava
Lava tank: mmk
*player fills lava tank with lava*
lava tank: HEY WHAT YOU DOIN LAVA YOU'RE ON THE EXACT PLACE AS I AM IN OUR BLOCK MODEL
lava in the tank: lol ok Idc
And so lava tank and the lava in the tank fight for the spot in the block model, but they only fight when a player moved or changes his head position. The end.

That does make sense, that is exactly what it is doing. It also does it on any pipes and tanks with liquid in them.

Vanilla textures also do the same thing.

Yes. Don't use Optifine.

Don't know if this is still an issue, but I had problems with tinkerers textures. Managed to correct the glitches w/o removing Optifine by just turning off Video settings > performance > Fast render.
Easy peasy!
