Optifine issues

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Hello, there

Tried to install optifine on my FTB academy pack. I try to install it into the mod folder of said pack and I get the issue

"Cannot find Minecraft 1.12.2. You must download and start 1.12.2 once in the official launcher."

May seem needless to say but I have opened Minecraft 1.12.2 both from the official Minecraft launcher and from the FTB launcher. I've spent probably over 5 hours in game on this version. Yet for some reason I get this error. If anyone would be willing to help me with this issue I would really appreciate it.

We don't support optifine in the packs - but with that said, you should just be able to drop the mod in the mods folder.

Try asking Optifine for support on the matter.
