Windows .exe Optifine in FTB Retro

I download Optifine for 1.2.5 and put it in the jar tab when editing the mod packs mods. It works fine I get on the map than out of no where it will crash saying

java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.Boolean cannot be cast to java.lang.Integer

Well, don't. If you have JRE and JDK, you need to get rid of JDK. If you're using it to learn how to mod, I suggest moving it to a flashdrive while trying to play.

I don't really need it. Ill do that and play for a bit to see if it crashes,it usually just crashes randomly as I'm playing. so Ill give it a bit and respond back

Sorry, but I'm out of ideas. I'll keep poking around to see what else can cause java.lang.ClassCastException and ways to make it not happen.
Did you try a clean install?
